N is 6 months! 1/2 a year old already! I was planning on making a small cake that she wouldn't be able to eat, and neither would Todd because of the wheat. But since Todd and I were both sick and I didn't want to prolong that sickness by eating an entire cake myself I didn't make it. Sometimes I feel as if I'm slacking as a mother because I didn't put together an Easter egg basket for N, or back her a cake she wouldn't be able to touch because of babies and allergies and all that stuff. I think I'll get over it but it's still there in the back of my mind....

I don't expect much more to ever be posted on this blog, and I'm largely just posting this to share it with some particular friends....
She doesn't know any better and probably won't even care because she won't remember. This also sets you up to do whatever for her birthday and next Easter because whatever you do with out do the nothing that you did this time around. I think you set yourself up for a win-win situation. Two thumbs up!
