Teeth!

N has teeth! Her first showed up two Sundays ago when she stuck my finger in her mouth and then last Saturday we noticed a second tooth coming in. I made the mistake of giving her a red Otter-Pop to suck on like I use to but it melted and she bit a hole in it. I didn't notice it till I picked it up and flung red liquid all over our carpet! Todd and I scrubbed as quickly as humanly possible to get it out. Wooh!

Rock Climing with Greg! Yeah for Greg!

As the departure of our fond brother-in-law, Greg, to boot camp stares us down in the face we took the opportunity to steal him a way for a few hours and take advantage of his Rock climbing skills and equipment. Monday morning Greg, Todd, N and I went to Provo Canyon and hiked to some nearby climbing routes.

Greg took some time to start training N in the art of belaying. Which she throughly enjoyed! She's going to miss her Uncle Greg :(

It felt so good to get out and climb again. We asked Greg questions of where to go, what to get, what brands and so on as Todd and I are starting to look into accumulating the necessary items to go climbing on our own this summer. We're just happy that warmer weather has come and we can get out to do these activities again.
We forgot how fast Rock Climbing can take it out of you. Much faster then if your at a rock gym. N was so tuckered out she had to nap ever before we got to the car. She slept through the hike down the side of the mountain and being handed off as areas were more dangerous then others and didn't wake up till she was placed in the car and stopped moving.

Thank you Camille for letting Greg take us out :D

Car Accident - There goes our stimulus check

I was pulling out of the car port yesterday to run a random non-important errand so Todd could study at home for a little bit and as I was more then halfway down the carport to the street a neighbor who was parked in between the two buildings backed up into our car. She crushed our back right door and out went the window. N was in back but no glass got on her thank heavens. She didn't even really seem fazed by it until after I took her from the car. Todd took her to our next door neighbors to be watch so she wouldn't be around the lady who was swearing up a storm and blaming it on me. It was awful. I then proceeded with the steps oh what you should do when involved in an accident but didn't get far, I called an officer, Todd went to exchange insurance information and the lady wouldn't give us hers! She gave it to the officer but not us. Um I need it for insurance purposes......Yeah well she was in a Jeep so there was little damage to her bumper, and our car gets checked out at the shop on Monday morning. Since Utah is a no-fault state the officer couldn't tell us who was at fault, he said our insurance companies would have to decide that on their investigation.
So after talking with the insurance company yesterday and our agent today, I e-mailed the 10 photos we took of the accident and hopefully they can get this cleared up quickly and we'll get our deduction back after they conclude it wasn't our fault. Cocky? I don't think so, I honestly believe it was not my fault.Just a case of she didn't see me already behind her and when she was backing out to back out of the driveway she hit me, happens. Now lets just get it taken care of. Shout out Thanks to all the neighbors who helped sweep up the glass!
Here's our poor car after the hit :(

Why I'm (still) a Mormon

I don't expect much more to ever be posted on this blog, and I'm largely just posting this to share it with some particular friends....
