My Online Etsy Shop is finally OPEN!
MyTinyTreasure.Etsy.Com

I've been working on this since last year and after finally deciding to stick with Etsy, I have it up and running. I'm hoping to eliminate the "middle man" (Etsy) by having my own website but that is saved for a much later future date.

Right now my shop is featuring only hair products, but most of you know I have a wide range or interests and I'm looking forward to bringing them all to Etsy.

I do not mind special orders!
If you see something you like, whether on my shop or not and would like inquire if I can make it for you, just shoot me a line and we'll set up an Etsy Special Order and I'll create it.

Thank you for the encouragement and excitement you've given me and my talents, it's meant a lot to me. Thank you.

not nearly enough

I love reading my old roommate's blog (Mitch your are inspiring), she blogs about what inspires her, fun events, creative projects, what she loves, etc, but most importantly, I think, her love for her hubby.
I am
without words when it comes to how grateful I am for Todd and how blessed I am. I was blessed with someone with qualities I didn't know I needed. Todd is extremely supportive and absolutely HATES it when I say something that is demeaning about myself. He's always ready to answer any questions I have and encourages me to learn, learn, and learn some more. We laugh about how we met, love our lives now, and look forward to the eternal lives we'll share together.

He is mine! I love it! Muah-ha-ha!
Here are some pictures of Todd with N that I absolutly love.

Here I asked him to "Watch the baby", he took it very lite
ral.
Todd's playing a video game and well at the moment they are both sucking. :) Helping N terrorize the ducks. Teaching N proper hygiene techniques.
This it the most recent picture of just the 3 of us. And it's from July 2008! I think it's long past the time I should have asked my cousin Ash for photo -op.

Celebrity Boyfriends

"There is nothing like having a TV or movie theater full of boyfriends. They never know about each other, or get jealous. You always know what to expect from them. And, best of all, they are at your every whim as to when and where you need a fix. I love my TV boyfriends!!!" - Katherine Evans (2004-ish)

"Everyone has TV and movie boyfriends. Harrison Ford was one of my first movie boyfriends. And Michael J. Fox was a TV boyfriend until he went back to the future and became my movie boyfriend, too. Other long-time TV and movie boyfriends are Michael Vartan, Patrick Dempsey, Mel Gibson, Val Kilmer and Brad Pitt. These are the guys who make me swoon to their acting every time. I can't believe that I forgot Pierce Brosnin and Richard Gere. Duh! I am watching Chicago right now."
- Katherine Evans(2/18/2009)

What Katherine said is so true! I remember drooling over certain actors like Tom Cruise till I discovered he was a short jerk with
alien issues, Harrison Ford and Richard Gere who are like a fine wine, they get better with age, and Christian Bale, you know Newsies was a favorite! Anyways, as I discussed this with Todd he just rolled his eyes, but it's true we have actors that we love to watch
and make big anime eyes at.
My TV/Movie boyfriends are:

David Tennant
He's acted in Harry Potter #4, and Dr. Who my fav! Mostly British shows and movies, and he's doing some theater right now.

Ben Barnes

Played Prince Caspian in the 2nd Narnia movie, and in Star Dust.

And....

Jonathan Rhys Meyers

He played in August Rush, Vanity Fair, and Bend It Like Beckham.
He was a favorite until I discovered he had practically NO morals what-so-ever and smokes. yuck!

Who are your TV/Movie boyfriends?

Twilight

Last night Missy, Amber and I went to the $ theater and saw Twilight. The first time I saw it I thought I had low expectations but appaently not low enough. I came back having multiple issues with Catherine Hardwicke's style of filming and some issues with Robert Pattinson's (plays Edward Cullen) acting. But in the end it was the directing. It seemed very amateur-ish and I disliked the fact that she did so little with the Cullen family. I still felt that way after seeing it the second time but came out much more satisfied, if that makes sense.

I'm excited about Chris Weitz, he produced In Good Company, and American Pie (never saw and never want to) but more importantly wrote the screenplays for Antz, About A Boy, and Golden Compass. I'm excited for what he will bring to the table with New Moon.

I've heard rumors of Dakota Fanning being casted as Jane for New Moon. I think she would be great! What do you think?

Taxes

Thank you BYU Accounting. We took our paperwork to our appointment and 45 minuets later, federal and state taxes were filed and DONE! Then we filed Todd's FAFSA. It's February and it's all completed. Thank Heavens.

Plug for VITA, they will do your federal and state taxes for FREE if you make under $45,000. Just head on over to http://vita.byu.edu/ and go through the questionnaire and it will direct you to the scheduling. They are on a rotating sign up system so if no dates appear try back everyday till they open up the next 2 weeks.

V-Day

So I haven't finished my Christmas post, and it's mid February I know! But I'll keep up with what's going on now.

For Valentine's Day I made Todd Cherry Heart Tarts. His mom makes them and since we live no where near my in-laws I made them. He LOVES them. I'm glad I could make his day.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

In the wee hours of the morning

N sleeps through the night THANK HEAVENS! But last night at 2 I hear a small whimper that turns to a cry. I walk into her room and she's standing up in her crib, I pick her up, place her in my lap with her lovey and rock her. She quiets down very fast and I place her back in her bed for her to do to sleep. At 3:35 AM! She's talking at the top of her lungs! It's what she does when she's done with her nap and wants us to come get her. But it was 3:45 AM!! Talking! Loudly! I'll translate for you: "I'm awake and I'm SINGING!!!!! I'm in my crib and I'm SINGING!!!" Todd woke up but I rolled over and said, "Well there's nothing we can do." and go back to sleep. Don't know what got into her in the wee hours of the morning, and although I can laugh at it, I'd prefer she not do it again. :)

Why I'm (still) a Mormon

I don't expect much more to ever be posted on this blog, and I'm largely just posting this to share it with some particular friends....
